Mike Fowler

Mike started working at Southern Auto Color in 2006 as a warehouse manager at our Gainesville location. In 2010 he moved to an inside sales representative and in 2015 became the store manager at our Cumming location. He is also our resident IT guy, we think of him as our very own MacGyver. Mike enjoys meeting new people at work, and in his time off he enjoys going to church, spending time with his wife and his family, especially his grandson.

Dusty Kenimer

Dusty is the son of owners David and Tammy Kenimer. He started out as a part time transfer driver in 2004. After graduating high school in May 2005, he became a full time inside sales associate and assisted with inventory purchasing. In 2009 he became an outside salesman for our Gainesville and Cumming locations. Dusty has attended many PPG classes and seminars including countless color and software classes. Along with many classes that have certified him with our products, such as Deltron and Envirobase, making him very familiar with the new waterborne products.  In 2010 he married our office assistant, Amanda Kenimer, and they have two children. In his free time Dusty enjoys both hunting and fishing.

 

Mark Hutchins

Industrial Sales Representative

Mark is our Industrial Salesman and has been since he was hired in 2007. Mark completed a year at Lanier Technical College in the machine and tool department. He has also completed the Commercial Performance Coatings Technology Training at the PPG Training Center. Before he came to Southern Auto Color, Mark painted electric motor castings. Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Jeri Lyn and his children Caleb and Savannah. In his spare time he enjoys deer and turkey hunting.

Jim Bennett

Tech Representative

Jim joined the Southern Auto Color team in the summer of 2017 as a Technical Representative. Jim has grown up in the automotive collision industry and is a third generation technician. Jim has worked in some of the more demanding shops since moving to North Georgia in 1999. His experience has given him insight to streamlining the production process and honed his color matching skills. Jim also has experience in “ground up” type restoration work. Jim enjoys fishing, knife making, and spending time with his family.
